Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of wedontghost.com ("We Don't Ghost", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Recruiters must have authority to hire, or to recruit, for the company they name.

2. Your account

Give accurate information and keep your login secure. One person, one account. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. The response commitment

This is what makes the service different, so please read it.

• Every step of an application has a response deadline. Currently: 7 days for a recruiter to answer an application, 2 days for a candidate to answer an interview invite, 10 days for a recruiter's decision after interviews start, and 5 days for a candidate to answer an offer.
• If the person who owes a response does not reply in time, the step closes automatically and the other side is told.
• Every response owed, on time or not, counts toward your public response rate.
• Low response rates reduce your reach: recruiters' jobs rank lower, and candidates can hold fewer active applications.

We may adjust these deadlines and limits. We will show the current ones on the site.

4. Rules for everyone

• No fake, misleading or expired job posts, and no fake applications.
• Recruiters must not charge candidates any fee to apply, interview or be hired.
• No discrimination that the law prohibits, no harassment, and no abusive messages.
• No spam, no scraping, and no automated access without our written permission.
• Do not use contact details you get here for anything other than the job in question.
• Do not try to manipulate response rates, for example with duplicate accounts.

5. Your content

You own what you post. You give us permission to store it, display it to the people described in our Privacy Policy, and use it to run the service. You confirm you have the right to post it.

6. What we are and are not

We are a platform that connects candidates and recruiters. We are not an employer, a recruitment agency or a party to any hiring decision or employment contract. We do not guarantee that you will get a job, find a candidate, or that any post or person is genuine, although we act on reports of abuse.

7. Fees

The service is currently free. We may introduce fees for recruiters, such as for job posts. We will announce them in advance, and they will not apply to anything you did before they start. Candidates will not be charged to apply.

8. Suspension and closing accounts

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or harm others, with notice where reasonable. You can close your account at any time by emailing us.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the actions of other users. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes and contact
